Wisdom Photography

What’s best choice for first smart phone,?
Want to go with a prepaid service, probably Virgin Mobile or Boost so minutes are unlimited and see the Blackberry option and a few other brands that are Android based. I deal with photography and it seems the Android system is more user friendly. I am not very cell phone saavy. Been looking at the Samsung Intercept as it’s in my budget. Any words of wisdom? The IPhone isn’t an option and I don’t want a contract. Thanks.
**When I say I deal with photography, I do NOT mean I want to shoot pics with my cell. I’d like to be able to show folks pics samples of my work, kind of like a portfolio of pics in my hand. Would like to be able to move around the pics quickly and needs to be presented well. The touch screen seems the way to go. Does Blackberry have this capability?
For someone that isn’t very phone savvy, but is looking for a good first smartphone, especially with what you plan on using it for, I would recommend an Android device. They are much more user friendly, however have the unfortunate side of many devices having a less-than-stellar battery life, which is said to be remedied in the two most recent versions of Android (2.2 and 2.3).
Ultimately in terms of service cost, you’ll want to consider which features are most important, how much messaging you expect to use and other factors to try and get the most bang for your buck.
